Lentils/Pulses are some of the most nutritious, and at the same time economical foods in the world. Lentils, a small but nutritionally mighty member of the legume family, are rich in dietary fiber, folate, vitamin B1, and minerals and most importantly, lentils have the third-highest level of protein of any legume or nut. Lentils are an essential source of inexpensive protein in many parts of the world, especially in West Asia and the Indian subcontinent, which have large vegetarian populations.
Lentils are available in all sorts of colors. Some of the common lentils are: Bengal Gram/Chickpeas(chana dal),  Chickpeas brown(Kala Chana), Black gram(Whole urad dal), Brown Lentil(Whole Masoor dal), Green Chickpeas(Cholia/hara chana), White chickpeas(cholay/kabuli chana), Black Eye Bean/Lobia, Green gram(green whole mung beans), Red lentil(masoor), yellow Mung dal, Red Kidney beans(Rajma), Red gram/pigeon peas(arhar/toor dal), Lablab beans(vaal Dal) to name a few, we Indians consume in our daily diet.
I know You all also include beans & lentils someway in your diet. So share how many different ways you consume this health beneficial food in your diet.
