Eggless Oats ChocoChip Muffin




Sharing a baking recipe and this recipe is for the kids of our home who don't love to eat Oats. This recipe is also eggless and the fun part is they won't realize they are eating oats muffins.What more can we ask for, give your kids the goodness of Oats, that they'll lovingly have.

You Need :
Oats, whole : 1/2 cup
All purpose Flour : 3/4 cup
Sugar : 1/2 cup, powdered
Butter : 100 gm., room temperature
Baking Powder : 11/2 tsp.
Baking Soda : 1/2 tsp.
Salt : a pinch
Milk : 2/3 cup
Vinegar : 2 tsp.
Vanilla essence : 1 tsp.
Chocolate Chip : 1/3 cup
Slivered almonds to sprinkle


How To :
  • Preheat oven in 180 C. Prepare a muffin pan by greasing a muffin pan.
  • Grind the oats into flour, keep aside. Mix milk and vinegar and give it a good mix, keep aside. 
  • In a bowl, mix oat flour and APF, add baking powder, baking soda and salt together. Add powdered sugar in there. In the same bowl, add melted butter, Milk-vinegar mix and vanilla essence. Then with an electric beater, beat till you have a creamy batter. 
  • Lastly add chocolate chips in the batter. Mix.
  • Drop 2 tablespoons of batter into the prepared muffin pan. Sprinkle some slivered almonds on top of each muffin. Bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or a toothpick inserted in the center, comes out clean.
